2020 Brunello di Montalcino

Tasting notes:

Aged for 36 months in large Slavonian oak casks. Aromas of blueberry and plum with notes of earthiness. Medium to full-bodied with velvety and polished tannins and a wonderful finish. Very generous Brunello.

Producer description:

Dating back to the 15th century, this estate has been under the ownership of the Gnudi Angelini family since 2002. The winery attracted its fair share of appriasal when bottling the first separate Cru from the Montosoli hill in the north of Montalcino, an area now well known for making distinctly elegant and aromatically complex Brunello. They produce both Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino, as well as single-vineyard Cru Montosoli.
