Tasting notes:
The 2014 Château de Fieuzal offers elegant aromas of dark berries, graphite and subtle spice. The palate is refined and balanced, with ripe blackcurrant fruit, fine-grained tannins and a refreshing lift typical of Pessac-Léognan. A poised, harmonious wine with good concentration and a long, gently smoky finish.
Producer description:
Château de Fieuzal has been owned by Brenda and Lochlann Quinn since 2001. Originally from Ireland, they have brought energy, vision, and a deep respect for tradition to the estate, ensuring that each vintage captures the authentic character of this historic Pessac-Léognan terroir. Their stewardship has helped define the unique signature style that distinguishes the wines of Fieuzal today. A Graves Cru Classé, the estate oversees an exceptional vineyard comprising 68 hectares of red varieties and 10 hectares of white. The vines, averaging 30 years of age, are rooted in classic gravel soils—perfect for producing benchmark wines that embody the elegance and structure of Pessac-Léognan.
