2019 Estate Pinot Noir
Tasting notes:
Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 15 months in oak barrel (5% new). Aromas of rose petal, red cherry with a hint of smoke and incense. Elegant on the palate with a silky texture and savoury flavours of fresh mushroom and red bramble.
Producer description:
Located in the remote Anderson Valley, Domaine Anderson lies on sloping hillsides which spread from the warmer region of Boonville to the cooler regions of the Mendocino coast. The soils range from rocky, river gravels to the finest clay loam and all grapes are estate grown, giving them complete control over the land. They follow organic and biodynamic principles and vinify their Chardonnay and Pinot Noir using only carefully selected French oak barrels sourced from Burgundian cooperages.
