Tasting notes:
Aged for about 15 months in French barriques and amphorae. Aromas of ripe red fruit and black cherry alongside notes of cinnamon and black pepper. Medium to full-bodied on the palate with fine and silky tannins well-balanced with the acidity and a long and savoury finish.
Producer description:
Torre de Terzolan dates back to 1300 AD. At the time, it was used as a hunting lodge. Located at 350 metres above sea level, this small estate is composed of three hectares divided in four vineyards: La Mezzaluna, La Pala, Il Binte and Il Brolo. Each is farmed organically and planted with indigenous Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina varietals.
