2020 Brunello di Montalcino

Tasting notes:

Aged for 36 months in large Slavonian oak casks. Elegant and perfumed Sangiovese with floral aromas of blue flower and wild rose alongside cherry, cassis, licorice and spice. Firm and compact yet vibrant with fine grains tannins. Incredible purity of fruit.

Producer description:

Le Ragnaie is a fairly recent winery. Created in 2003 by the Campinoti family, the vineyards are meticulously managed following organic practices. They own 15 hectares of vines divided in distinct plots across Petroso, Montosoli, and Castelnuovo dell’Abate. This allows them to produce five single vineyard Brunellos alongside a blend. This is one to watch!
