2020 Keir Syrah

Tasting notes:

Fermented and macerated in clay amphora with six months of skin contact. A pure expression of syrah with cherry fruits and white pepper note and very smooth on the palate. Medium-bodied.

Founded in 1984, Tua Rita was instrumental in establishing the ‘cult’ status of the earliest Super Tuscans. They have earned a reputation for being some of the best producers of Cabernet and Merlot in Tuscany. Today, second generation winemaker Stefano Frascolla continues to push the boundaries of Italian wine, experimenting with new varieties and techniques.
