Sourced from La Roggia vineyard, on the slopes of Monte Sausto in San Pietro in Cariano. After a long drying process, fermentation with maceration take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Aged for 24 months in 225 l. French oak barriques and a further 6 months in bottle. Aromas of cherry with sweet hints of raisins, violets and jam. Rich full-bodied and concentrated and on the palate with a velvety mouthfeel.

The Speri Winery dates back to the 1800s, and is now run by seventh generation. They source their wines from 60 hectares of vineyards located in some of the best areas of Valpolicella Classico. They manage all steps from the vineyard to the bottle and have been certified organic since 2015.
