2020 Terra Mazzei

Terra Mazzei is made to celebrate the terroir of the different wine estates of Mazzei family. Thisperfectly balanced blend of Sangiovese, Nero d'Avola, Alicante and Merlot has a nice texture and ripe fruits flavours. It is interesting for the wide range of aromas and the several grapes used to craft this new released wine.

Producer description:

Fonterutoli is located near Siena on hills facing the Val d’Elsa, in the heart of Chianti Classico. Owned by the Mazzei family since 1435, Castello Fonterutoli promotes local varieties which express the identity of their land, while respecting nature and its diversity. The vineyards spread over 110 hectares divided on 144 single parcels with altitudes ranging from 220m to 570m. The estate is densily planted and produces very limited yields. Grapes are top quality making full-bodied wines with structure, balance and freshness.
