Their Rosso is produced from their youngest vines, fermented in cement vats and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. This is the signature style of their high-altitude vineyards. Juicy notes of red berry fruits and plums with hints of violets and Mediterranean herbs. Vibrant on the palate with a distinct fruity character. It can be enjoyed in its early years.

Biondi-Santi is one of the most recognisable labels within the Brunello di Montalcino DOC. Generation after generation, the family has always experimented in both vineyards and cellar, creating Brunello’s signature style at the same time. Increasing vine density, lowering yields to concentrate flavours in the grapes, the use of native yeasts and barrel ageing were some of the methods they were the first to adopt in the area.
