Tasting notes:
Aged on the lees for up to two years. Aromas of pear and stone fruit alongside smoky notes. Concentrated on the palate with some texture and a long finish.
Producer description:
Since the end of the nineteenth century, the Troisi family has been championing the wines of Irpina, Campania. Winemaker Raffaele Troisi is the first to have bottled Coda di Volpe as a single-varietal, while his father was the first to do the same with Fiano. Their vines are grown at high altitude on pure volcanic soils and produce wines with character and of impeccable finesse and freshness.
