Tasting notes:

Aged for 6 months in tapered oak vats and 10 months wooden vats. Aromas of sour cherry, plum and orange peel with spicy and earthy notes and hints of violet. Medium-bodied, crunchy and generously fruity on the palate. Enjoyable in its youth, it will keep for a decade.

Founded in 1984, Tua Rita was instrumental in establishing the ‘cult’ status of the earliest Super Tuscans. They have earned a reputation for being some of the best producers of Cabernet and Merlot in Tuscany. Today, second generation winemaker Stefano Frascolla continues to push the boundaries of Italian wine, experimenting with new varieties and techniques.
