Aged in large oak cask for 12 months. Aromas of ripe cherry and tobacco. Full-bodied with concentrated fruits on the palate alongside, smooth tannins, freshness and elegance.
Producer description:
In 1975 Giuseppe Sesti moved his family to Tuscany, where he bought the abandoned hamlet and castle of Argiano. Today, this breathtaking estate is on one of the top spots of Montalcino. It is planted with 13 hectares of vines which benefits from a unique micro-climate. While restoring the estate, Giuseppe also found the time to write five books on astronomy and considers the influence of the moon indispensable to viticulture. Now helped with daughter Elisa, he makes wine according to biodynamic practices and produces elegant Sangiovese with distinctive floral notes.
