DDA is the Etna project created by the iconic Gaja family together with Alberto Graci, on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. The name “IDDA”, meaning “she” in Sicilian dialect, refers affectionately to the volcano itself. The vineyards are planted at high altitude on mineral-rich volcanic soils, producing wines of freshness, elegance and remarkable precision.
