Aged for up to 10 months in oak barrels. Aromas of red berry fruits and spices. Refined on the with rounded tannins perfectly balanced with the acidity. A Rosso di Montalcino of great finesse and complexity which can be enjoyed right away.

Producer description:

Founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri, this estate quickly achieve international acclaims and earned its place amongst the best producers in Brunello. Neri was fascinated by remote Montalcino and its austere Sangiovese. He found a working farm, Podere Casanova, which, thanks to its altitude, aspect and soil composition, had the potential to make great Brunellos. Today, his son Giacomo runs the estate, alongside his two sons, Giovanni and Gianlorenzo. They own seven vineyards, each having its own identity and planted with Casanova di Neri's own clones of Sangiovevse.
