2024 AIX Rose

Tasting notes:

A bright, joyful pale-pink in the glass. A gentle swirl lifts an intense, expressive nose of fresh peach juice, ripe raspberries and delicate white-flower blossom. The palate opens with vibrant stone fruit and raspberry notes, carried by the classic AIX cranberry tang that plays beautifully against the fine, precise acid line. It finishes refreshingly long, dry and mineral, leaving a clean, balanced impression. A wine that comfortably exceeds expectations.

Maison Saint AIX is owned and run by the Kurver family, who relocated from their native Holland to Provence, acquired the estate, and launched the AIX brand in 2009. In little more than a decade, AIX Rosé has established itself as a modern benchmark for Provence rosé and is now poured across many of the world’s leading hotels, beach clubs, and restaurants. Set amid the rolling hills to the north-east of Aix-en-Provence, the estate is one of the largest in the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. Its 75 hectares of vineyards sit at 400–420 metres above sea level, an elevated site that brings cooler nights, longer ripening, and the freshness and aromatic purity that define AIX Rosé.
