Tasting notes:

Aged for up to 16 months in oak barrels (50% new). Aromas of plum, sweet berry, licorice and mint. Medium to full-bodied and vibrant with concentrated fruits and powdery tannins. It can be enjoyed within 5 years from the vintage and kept for up to 30 years.

Located next to Châteaux Ausone, Ch La Gaffeliere boasts 32 hectares of vines. It has been in the hands of the Malet-Roquefort family since 1705. Each plot is worked individually, in order to extract the best expression of this terroir.
