Tasting notes:
This wine is ruby red in colour and the nose opens with notes of black cherries, raspberries, marzipan, plum jam, cloves and cinnamon, ending finally with some light earthy aromas. On the palate, it is fresh and lively with elegant tannins.
Producer description:
The Haas family have cultivated vineyards in Montagna, Alto Adige, for generations, but it was Franz Haas (1954–2022) who transformed the estate into one of the region’s most respected producers. After studying at Geisenheim, he dedicated the winery to producing precise, characterful wines that emphasise purity and balance. Since the 2018 vintage, the entire production has been bottled under screwcap to preserve aromatic freshness.
