2021 Cotes de Nuits Village

Tasting notes:

Selected from plots across Fixin, Brochon, Premeaux, Comblanchien et Corgoloin. Aged in oak barrels for up to 12 months. Aromas of wildflowers, red berry and liquorice. Supple on the palate this is a lovely entry level Burgundy.

Producer description:

Domaine Chanson has been under the Bollinger family’s ownership since 1999. They invested in both vineyards and cellar and improve the quality of the wines. The estate spreads over 45 hectares of exclusively Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and a further 50 ha of vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise. Plot selection, yield control and short pruning are some of the strict rules followed in the vineyards to produce wines of the purest Burgundian spirit. The wines from Beaune will be certified organic from the 2024 vintage.
