Sourced from a single vineyard named Monte Lodoletta. Aged in new barrels for about 18 months and a further 36 months in the bottle. Complex aromas of kirsch, blackberry, dried mint and eucalyptus and hints of minerals, earth and smoke. Full-bodied, powerful, vibrant concentrated and precise with sculpted tannins well-balanced with an elegant acidity.

Romano dal Forno is undoubtedly one of the most respected and sought-after producers in Veneto. The wines made here are some of the deepest, richest, and most age-worthy expressions in the region, while maintaining elegance and freshness. It all started in 1983, when Romano decided to make his own wine, instead of selling the grapes from the family’s vineyards. Mentored by the great Giuseppe Quintarelli, he learnt the craft as he went along and has become the leader of Verona's new wave of winemaking.
