Aged for 26 months in large casks followed by a further 6 months in concrete tanks. Aromas of sweet berry, tar, strawberry and cherry. Full-bodied, juicy and intense on the palate with round and soft tannins and a savoury finish.
Producer description:
In 1958, Arnaldo Rivera created Terre del Barolo, a cooperative winery aiming to produce good wines while delivering social justice. The winery is located at the lower part of Castiglione Falletto, which happened to be the junction of the roads leading to Barolo, Serralunga d’Alba, and Monforte d’Alba. A constant observation of the vines and minimal intervention in the cellar are two key principle they follow to produce great examples of Piedmontese wines. In 2017, they launched Arnaldo Rivera wines, where only a few growers from the cooperative collaborate to produce a range of top-quality wines their best sites.
