2020 Chateau Giscours

Tasting notes:

Aged for 12-15 months in oak barrels (50% new). The wines of Giscours are elegant and well-structured with bright aromas of black berry, plum and currant fruits with hints of leather. Full-bodied on the palate with silky tannins. Will keep for up to 30 years.

Producer description:

Dating back to 1552, Chateau Giscours is one of the largest estates in Margaux. It boasts 80 hectares of vineyards divided in various plots, the oldest of which being planted in 1923. They are slowly converting to organic farming.
