Aged in oak casks for a few months. Aromas of red and- dark berry fruit, rose and violet. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate with delicate tannins.

Producer description:

One of the most respected names in the Italian winemaking industry, Poderi Aldo Conterno is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of Nebbiolo made today. Over the past decades, they have deliberately reduced their production (from 180,000bt to 80,000bt) to increase quality while still using the same vineyard size. No need to say that low yielding here is key. They own 25ha of vines mainly located on the hill of Bussia, one of the most sought-after sites in the area.
