Tasting notes:

Complex aromas of dark red stone fruits, tobacco, smoke and graphite. Pure, deep and dense on the palate with ripe tannins. It will take at least a decade to start revealing itself and will keep for at least 30 years.

Producer description:

Arguably the most celebrated and recognisable wines in the world, Chateau Petrus dates back to the mid 19th century. It gained international recognition 100 years later, when under the ownership of Madame Loubat who appointed Jean Pierre Moueix as the exclusive agent. Moueix played a crucial role in building the wine’s reputation and his family is now the main owner. The vineyards sit on blue clay soil giving the wine incredible depth.
