Blackberry, cassis and dark cherry lead, threaded with graphite, cedar, cocoa and wild herbs. Dense, concentrated fruit rides on vibrant mountain acidity; tannins are fine and powdery. Violets, savory spice and a stony mineral edge shape a long, persistent finish. Delicious after a short decant; best 2027–2042.
