Tasting notes:
Fermented with indigenous yeasts without maceration, the pinkish colour comes from the juice not the skin. Aged for 12 months in stainless steel vats. Aromas of orange blossom, marmalade, apricot and cranberry. Medium-bodied and delicate on the palate with a refreshing acidity and a long finish.
Producer description:
The Parrilla family has been making wines at Tenuta del Conte for four generations, however the first wine bearing the name of the estate on its labelled was released in 2004. Today, Mariangela, Giuseppe, and Caterina are in charge of the estate and own 15 hectares of vineyard, all certified organic. Using indigenous yeasts, no filtration, and solely stainless-steel and bottle aging, their wines are made with local varietals.
