2022 Gevrey Chambertin

Tasting notes:

The Gevrey is a blend of two parcels: 'Billard en Brochon' and 'Aux Echezeaux'. Aged on the lees for 10 months in French oak barrels (35% new) with no racking. A powerful Gevrey with a soft palate and complex aromas of red and black berry fruit with notes of spice and earth. About 3,500 bottles made.

One of the best viticulturalists and winemakers of his generation in Burgundy, Grégory Patriat trained himself in the vineyards of the prestigious Domaine Leroy before joining Domaine Jean Claude Boisset. He is dedicated to source his grapes from low yields and organic vineyards and specialises in making terroir driven wines from tiny plots.
