2022 Langhe Nebbiolo

Tasting notes:

Fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged in stainless steel for 10 months and unfiltered. Aromas of sweet dark berry fruit, rose and violet. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate with delicate tannins.

Producer description:

Founded in the 1950s, Principiano is situated in Monforte d'Alba, on the southern fringe of Barolo. Biodiversity is key here. Since Ferdinando took charge in 1993, he stopped using consultants and has been focusing on making wines in the most natural way possible. He owns 10 hectares of vines to produce about 35,000 bottles every year which are known for their great purity.
