Ornellaia is one of the most iconic estates of Bolgheri and a benchmark for Italian fine wine. Founded in 1981 and now owned by the Frescobaldi family, the estate sits along the Tuscan coast where maritime breezes, warm sunshine and complex soils provide ideal conditions for Bordeaux varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot thrive in this Mediterranean climate, producing wines of depth, elegance and remarkable longevity.
