Vibrant aromas of ripe blackberry and red cherry, with a hint of spice. Ripe, juicy and elegant with a tight structure and lifted, floral finish. This is a classic Selvapiana style.

Producer description:

Selvapiana has been in the family of Francesco Giuntini since 1827 and is known to make the best Chianti Ruffina. Their 60ha of vines are most planted with Sangiovese. Rufina is the smallest of Chianti’s subzones. It benefits from the cool breeze that blows down the Sieve Valley and creates exceptional wines with a remarkable finesse and definition.
