2023 Corton Pougets Grand Cru

Tasting notes:

Adjacent to Le Charlemagne, Les Pougets is on an upper and mid-slope. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels. Ripe plum and fig aromas with notes of earth and fresh flower. Medium-bodied with concentrated fruits and a silky texture.

Easily recognised with the emblematic head of Bacchus on the label, Louis Jadot produces wines across 130 appellations. Their wines benefitted from the expertise of Jacques Lardière, one of Burgundy’s finest winemakers, in the 1970s. Using minimal intervention, the wines have received critical acclaims across the globe.
