2023 La Bruja Garnacha

Tasting notes:

Sourced from 60-year-old vines at 850- 900 metres above sea level, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in 500 litre French oak barrels for 8 months. Vibrant Garnacha with aromas of cherry and notes of spice. Deep with a good tension and length. Unfiltered.

Producer description:

Fernando García and Dani Landi met at university. Sharing the same passion for making first-rate, terroir-driven Grenache, they launched Bodega Comando G, which stands for Garnacha, Garnite & Gredos, in 2008. They are known as the ‘enochalados’ (‘crazy oenologists’), and are constantly searching for old-vine Garnacha in the Sierra de Gredos, between the provinces of Madrid and Ávila. All their wines are crafted using minimal intervention.
