Made with Cabernet and Sangiovese, Le Difese is meant to be enjoyed in its youth and offers wonderful value for money. Fragrant and open, with aromas of ripe raspberries and cranberries, notes of violet and herbal notes. Medium-bodied with ripe tannins and a refreshing acidity on the finish.

Producer description:

Tenuta San Guido was born out of the ambition of Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta to plant Bordeaux varieties in Tuscany. Helped by Giacomo Tachis, Mario produced the iconic Sassicaia, the first Super Tuscan wine ever made. The wine has not only entered Italy's Wine Pantheon but also achieved ‘cult’ status amongst collectors across the globe. Two more wines are now also produced at the estate: Guidalberto and Le Difese.
