Producer description:

Arianna Occhipinti is one of Sicily’s most influential natural winemakers, based in Vittoria in the island’s south-east. Starting her estate in 2004, she has become known for producing pure, terroir-driven wines from native varieties such as Frappato and Nero d’Avola. Her vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, with a strong focus on biodiversity and minimal intervention. Fermentations occur with native yeasts and the wines are aged mainly in large neutral oak, allowing the character of the grapes and the limestone-rich soils of Vittoria to shine through. The result is a range of elegant, vibrant wines celebrated for their transparency, freshness and sense of place.
