2024 Chateau Haut Bailly

Tasting notes:

Aged in small oak barriques (50% new) for 15 months and bottled unfiltered. Aromas of dark berry fruit with notes of chocolate, tobacco, cassis and hints of minerals. Medium-bodied and opulent with great purity of fruit and refined tannins. It will require 5 to 10 years to be enjoyed and will keep for up to three decades.

Ch Haut Bailly is made of 28 hectares of vineyards located in Pessac Leognan. It has been under the ownership of Robert G. Wilmers, an American banker, since the late 1990s. The wines have gained depth, concentration and body over the past two decades and are known amongst the best within the appellation.
