2024 Gavi di Gavi Lugarara

Tasting notes:

‘Lugarara’ is sourced from marl soils with sandy layers and is more open and forward than Montessora. Aromas of stone fruit, lime peel and green apple and hints of almond. Delicate with a crisp acidity and some structure.

Producer description:

This family run estate has been in the hands of the Giustiniani family since 1625. The first wines were planted by the Benedictine monks before they purchased it. Today, they focus on expressing Gavi di Gavi's potential from their two single vineyards ‘Lugarara’ and ‘Montessora’.
