The Poggio di Sotto Brunello represents the noblest soul of Sangiovese, a
wine that seems to emerge on its own, as if it possessed a soul of its
own. Each vintage is unique, shaped by the unmistakable vocation of the
Poggio di Sotto terroir and by the art of attentive listening practiced by
man, which transforms potential into excellence. A wine with a natural
affinity for time, capable of evolving with elegance and balance over
several decades.
The Cellar Selection was conceived to tell the story of the stylistic
evolution of Poggio di Sotto Brunello through three vintages. Presented in
an elegant wooden case, it includes the latest three vintages produced
— 2018, 2019, and 2020 — along with a booklet and a detailed vintage
report written by the winemaker Leonardo Berti
